Brain Break

Long before my professor Jack Wu told me that taking break out of your life is vital for your well being, but how? Does sleep works? Does vacation works? Do what you like most work? Not at all! Take 5 minutes break from your body and brain are the best. But when you force your brain not to think, you are actually thinking not to think. I am talking about here is 5 minutes of blank and relaxation of your life, let say one a week is a luxury and the best medication in the world. Since I realize the importance of that, I have never able to do that. When you sleep, you are dreaming, thinking about what you did today and the exciting about what you have tomorrow. When can I really take a REAL 5 minutes break to my brain, no thinking, no dreaming, no stressing, no pressure, simply nothing? As he always say, knowledge brings you food, intelligence brings you wealth; wisdom beings you happiness. Someone might never achieve the last phrase, Have you?

Do you know what your mom did for you?

I saw this online and translated this at 3:00am in my apartment in NY to share with anyone who read this from my heart. I love my mom. Do you?

Do you know what your mom did for you?

When you were 1, she fed you and bathed you; in return, you cried all over night.

When you were 3, she cooked for you; in return, you threw all food all over the floor.

When you were 4, she bought you canyons; in return, you drew an abstract on the wall.

When you 5, she bought you new clothes; in return, you were playing it over the mud.

When you were 13, she recommended you to cut your hair; you said she didn’t know what the hottest style was.

When you were 14, she paid for your summer camp; but you didn’t even give her one phone call for the whole summer.

When you were 15, she wanted to give you a hug when she got off from work; in return, you went to your room and closed the door.

When you were 17, she was waiting for an important phone call; but you were chatting with your buddy for whole night.

When you were 18, she was touched and cried to watch you graduated from high school; but you were stayed until next morning with your friends.

When you were 40, she called you and said happy birthday; but you replied, “I am busy.”

When you 50, she was sick and need your attention; but you were too busy for your own kids.

Someday, she will be gone and you will realize you can no longer to repay her for everything she has done for you. When you still can, you should love her as you ever did.

Woodside Park

I remember when I was young. A/C wasn’t that proper among our class. Living in public housing without A/C, every night in summer, my father brought me to the neighborhood park. I enjoyed a lot because I could have ice bar, toys, playing around park and those memories stay with me forever. I was at the park today, the park I always went after my family moved to Japan. This year has given me a lot of chances to think about myself and all my love ones. Kids were bicycling all over me. I was studying Japanese. The memories of my mom flash back. When I was around 13 years old, my mom always brought me to Tai Po and rented me a bicycle and watched me to play by myself. I don’t think I will do that anymore with my mom. But I will love to do this with my son. I think my mom miss those moments a lot. An Indian boy just passed in front of me. Her mom was accompanying with him. Her son was riding on the bike just like me when I was young and her mom was just like my mom. I enjoyed a lot to look at them, I saw myself when I was young and my mom when she was young and full of expectation toward us and her life- to give all she had to us. It is just like I will give all I have to my son and daughter. I am thankful that I have a year of myself in my whole life that I can stop, rest and thing about my first chapter of my life, and what I want to be, not what I should do to the next chapter of my life. I want to give the exactly some memories that my father and my mom gave me. Those has stayed with me and no one could possible taking away. I love those rice noodles with peanuts and sweet sauce that my father bought every night after he got out from work, from Ngau Tau Kok. He had to walk uphill about 15 minutes plus more than 200 stairs to get home. But do you know what; I know exactly what he had in his mind. I truly do. I understood now. When he was walking every step up, he was thinking about his family, his sons are waiting for him. When he bought those noodles, what he was thinking was our smiles and happiness. I promise you; father, you indeed made me so happy and those memories enriched my soul.

China Taiwan Direct Flight

I am talking about Chinese, not China Chinese, Taiwanese, Hong Konger, Indonesia Chinese, Malaysian-Chinese, American-Chinese. One word- Chinese. We are all Chinese. I am chill to see that Taiwan and China finally has a direct flight, a historical moment for our long political and civil war history between parties. Let's not talk about who is right or wrong, who is good or bad. If someday, I really think it will happen, some time, all of us can be united as one. We will be the biggest and strongest nation, and ethnicity of the world. Don’t be afraid, folks. We like peace. We won’t bite. The sad thing is the direct flight is not physical direct fly yet. It actually has to go to Hong Kong and turn back to Taiwan. Really can’t wait to see a real direct fly.

You future is built by your past & your past evolved your future

Fear not for the future, weep not for the past. -- Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822) English Poet.

Do you care more about your past or do you care about more about your future? You want to look good on your pictures. You only upload those nice pictures and share with your friend. That’s normal. My father always talks about his past. He has passed away, the only memories I have with him is the past. Pieces by pieces, it warms my heart. He will never come back and live with me in this psychical world for my future, but he always stay with me in my heart, for what he taught me and gave me- me, my body, my flush and blood, my personality, my characters, my heart, my strength and all that related to my future. I learned not to look back, because it is past, but I also learned to look back because you can’t find those things that in the future. No matter what is your philosophy is; whatever you care your past more than your future or you never look at your past and only care about your future. Remember, past is past, but always stay, Future is future, and it will eventually come. What most matter is now- the present. Live up your lives. Wait no time! Be yourself and enjoy your live.

Is China A Military Threat Or Another Paper Tiger

In terms of manpower, China has 2.25 million troops, 800,000 reserves and nearly 4 million paramilitary forces, a total of more than 7 million. Compare that to the United States, which has 1.4 million active military personnel, 858,500 reserves and 53,000 paramilitary, a total of 2.3 million personnel. Photo courtesy AFP.NATO wants to end tensions with China, establish military ties
Beijing (AFP) May 24 - NATO wants to finally end tensions arising from its deadly 1999 bombing of the Chinese embassy in Belgrade and establish ties with China, a general with the alliance said in comments published here Thursday. NATO Military Commission chairman General Ray Henault said the organisation was ready and willing to set up direct "military-to-military" relations with China, the official Xinhua news agency reported. "NATO is open to develop relations with China whenever there is (the) opportunity," Henault said, according to Xinhua, following an exclusive interview with him on the USS Roosevelt missile destroyer in Italy.
Xinhua said Henault had referred in the interview to NATO's bombing of China's embassy in Belgrade eight years ago, which killed three Chinese journalists. The incident, which NATO insisted was an accident, sent relations between the two sides plummeting to their lowest point. China initially recalled its ambassador from Washington over the strike. The US-led forces, which were trying to end Serbian violence against ethnic Albanians in Kosovo, said the strike occurred because of an outdated map provided by the CIA.

The United States and NATO apologised for the incident. China has never publicly accepted their explanation that the bombing was a mistake. "NATO wants to shake off the embassy-bombing shadow and is open to develop relations with China," Xinhua cited Henault as saying. China reacted warmly to the comments, with foreign ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu saying dialogue between the two sides had picked up pace recently and a deepening of ties was a possibility.

"China has resumed dialogue in recent years with NATO at various levels..," Jiang told reporters. "Under the current new international circumstances, China stays ready to maintain and develop contacts with NATO on the basis of equality and mutual respect, and to reinforce our exchanges. "This is conducive to the reinforcement of our mutual knowledge and this is to the benefit (of) the world and regional peace and stability."

Washington (UPI) May 24, 2007
How much of a threat is China's growing military to the security of the United States? China's investment in its military, from conventional weapons to cybersystems, along with its lack of openness regarding its intent, raises the possibility of a miscalculation that could spark a conflict with the United States, according to U.S. security policy experts.
So too could the perennial increases in its military spending. According to GlobalSecurity.org, China's official defense budget for 2000 was approximately $14.6 billion. It was increased the following year by 17.7 percent.

In 2001 China acknowledged its defense budget to be more than $17 billion, a figure higher than the defense budgets of India, Taiwan and South Korea combined. In 2002 China again increased military spending by 17.6 percent, or $3 billion, bringing the reported total to $20 billion.

The following year China once more increased military spending to $22 billion. Again, that figure grew by another 11.6 percent in 2004 to $2.6 billion. And in 2005 China raised its military budget another 12.6 percent, to $29.9 billion.

For the current year China's military expenditure is expected to hover around $44.94 billion. That's a jump of some $30 billion in just seven years.

But despite having the world's largest military force, China's army is smaller per capita than those of many countries, including the United States. Furthermore, some experts see the very size of the Chinese army as a hindrance to modernization. According to Foreign Policy in Focus, China cannot afford adequate pay, training or modern weapons for most of its forces. China will not be able to develop modern military forces unless it either greatly increases military spending (which seems unlikely) or drastically cuts the size of its forces.

With the number of troops presently in uniform, China can defend its territory, but its capacity for external aggression is minimal.

Yet Americans do not seem to be too preoccupied by China's military strength and expenditure, according to a new UPI-Zogby International poll. The poll, which has a margin of error of 1.4 percentage points, was carried out May 16-18 and had 5,141 U.S. residents as respondents.

Only 7.2 percent of Americans believe China represents a military threat to the United States, and even fewer -- 2.3 percent -- believe the issue of Taiwan could strain relations with China. China's occupation of Tibet ranked a meager 2 percent.

As for President George W. Bush's handling of relations with China, 40.9 percent give him "poor" marks, 23.2 percent rate him "fair," 21.1 percent "good," and 4.3 percent give him an "excellent" rating.

More than half of those polled -- 53.7 percent -- said they have a somewhat favorable opinion of the Chinese people, but only 4.8 percent have similar feelings for the Chinese government.

When asked whether China is a threat to U.S. national security, an economic threat to the United States or an economic partner and an ally, 21.7 percent of respondents said China is a threat to national security, 59.8 percent said China was more of an economic threat to the United States, and 5.7 percent believe China to be an economic partner and an ally.

Regarding China's continuing military buildup, 29.7 percent said they were "very concerned" while 2.9 percent showed "no concern at all." As far as China's threat to U.S. national security, 18.7 percent believe the communist country poses "a great threat," while a minority -- 3.7 percent -- see "no threat at all from China."

Although Taiwan barely registered as an issue of contention between the two nuclear powers, about half of the nearly 6,000 Americans polled -- 53.5 percent -- believe the United States has a responsibility to defend Taiwan, should it be attacked by China, while 36 percent disagree. About 45 percent of Americans believe China is a threat to stability in East Asia, and 63.8 percent fear China's space program.

Regarding the war on terror, only a tiny minority -- 1.8 percent -- of Americans believe China is a valid partner in the global war on terror; 18.2 percent "somewhat agree," but the majority, 63.6 percent, disagree.

earlier related report
China says US military report 'totally unjustified'
Beijing (AFP) May 27 - China hit back Sunday at a US defence report voicing concerns about its military build-up, saying the document was "totally unjustified" and designed to mislead international opinion. In Beijing's first official reaction, the People's Daily said the Pentagon report propagated a "China threat" theory even though China was only covering its legitimate defence needs. "A report that misleads international opinion," denounced an opinion piece in the Communist Party mouthpiece.
"The report pays no attention to the actual state of affairs, and in a premeditated fashion exaggerates the so-called Chinese military threat," it said. "It is totally unjustified." The Pentagon report, issued Friday, expressed concern at the deployment of long-range ballistic nuclear missiles, and a ballooning and non-transparent budget. China's pursuit of weapons strategies "is expanding from the traditional land, air, and sea dimensions of the modern battlefield to include space and cyberspace," the report said.

But the People's Daily retorted that China was simply trying to cover "an objective self-defence need." It said: "It is legitimate behaviour aimed at protecting national security and territorial integrity and will not cause a threat to any other country." China's national budget has projected an increase in military spending in 2007 of 17.8 percent to about 45 billion dollars, although the actual size of its spending is a matter of dispute.

Analysis: U.S. warning on Chinese buildup
by Pamela Hess
Washington (UPI) May 25 - A new Pentagon report claims China is building an expanded military with a force projection far beyond its home area.

"Analysis of China's weapons acquisition ... suggest(s) China is looking beyond Taiwan as it builds its force," states the Defense Department's annual report to Congress on "Military Power of the People's Republic of China."

The report came as U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates prepared to attend the Shangri-La conference, an international Asian security meeting.

The report said new conventional missile units already deployed at various locations in China could be used against targets other than Taiwan.

Beijing's investment in airborne early warning systems and in-air refueling jets permitted extended operations over the South China Sea. Its investment in five different classes of submarine and a stated desire to build an aircraft carrier "reflect Beijing's desire to protect and advance its maritime interests," the study said.

Over the long term, improvements in China's command, control and reconnaissance capabilities, including space-based and over-the-horizon sensors, could enable Beijing to identify, track and target military activities far into the western Pacific Ocean, the report said.

A Pentagon official told reporters Friday that China was developing a hard-to-target, road-mobile long range intercontinental ballistic missile known as the DF-31, which it assesses as "available" although not yet integrated into China's missile force. It is also "developing methods to counter ballistic missile defenses," according to the report.

Exactly what China's strategic interests beyond Taiwan were remained unclear, according to the report. As in previous years, the Pentagon report complained of China's lack of transparency as to its intentions, as well as in its published national security budget.

"We would like to have greater insight into their intentions, why they are developing this force," the U.S. defense official said.

China's aggregate national defense budget is officially about $45 billion. But the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency and other U.S. government and research institutes put the number much higher, when added to China's "defense-related" expenditures, including in space, missiles and shipbuilding. The DIA expects China's 2007 defense spending to total between $85 billion and $125 billion.

One of China's possible areas of interest is securing the sea lanes that connect the country to its imported fuel and coal.

"At present, China can neither protect its foreign energy supplies nor the routes on which they travel, including the Straits of Malacca through which some 80 percent of China's (crude) oil imports transit," the report said.

"China's concern over vulnerability and other resource supply is increasing ... (and) may end up shaping how they view force planning for the future," a defense official said.

In 2006 China signed a large number of new energy contracts -- its largest annual increase -- with Saudi Arabia and several African countries, according to the report. China held an African summit in November in Beijing that was attended by 40 heads of state and delegates from 48 of the 53 African nations, according to the report.

Beijing has sold military technology to nations in order to secure access to energy reserves, and has strengthened relations with "countries that defy international norms on issues ranging from human rights, support for international terrorism and proliferation," the report said.

The report noted China seemed to be shifting from just buying modern military equipment to training its forces properly to use them -- moving from a military whose strength lies in numbers to one with real capabilities.

The report also raised the possibility that China was developing a military organized for "preemptive" strikes, including surprise attacks. It notes that Peoples Liberation Army writers describe "preemption as necessary and logical when confronting a more powerful enemy.

"According to PLA theorists, an effective defense includes destroying enemy capabilities on enemy territory before they can be employed," the report stated.

Buying a House

I though buying a house in NY is expensive, but it looks like London and Hong kong are more on top of NY. I think it is time to move to Japan, for a better education for kids, better insurance, better environment, better society and better pay of course. http://finance.yahoo.com/real-estate/article/105172/The-Most-Expensive-Real-Estate-Markets-in-the-World

Clean Water

I watched Oprah show today and it talked about this organization http://www.freethechildren.com/index.php. It is amazing that this organization inspire and connect young children in America to see how the other part of the world is. Like Kenya, that people are drinking those muggy water. Life is not really fair. SO next time you turn on tap for water. Remember that somewhere in the world is not that lucky. Be humble.

Conscience

I read news today. A thief broke into a closed Chinese restaurant and stole $200 from the cash register. 2 days later on , when the owner came to work in the morning, he saw a envelope on the floor which wrote, "return you half, for the tragedy of the China earthquake. I call this conscience.

I really don't know how important money are to some people, most of the people or all people. First, you have to believe in destiny, you steal here and you will lost somewhere. You win the lottery, we might lose your opportunity. How much you will have is a destiny. You could, and you might change your destiny, but not by stealing and luck, it is by you bare hands. Second, you can't bring this with you. I have never seen so far, even though I believe in after-death world, and afterlife, but you still get bring your wealth with you. Do you whether people remember you with how much, and how many you achieved for yourself or for others? Yep, I remember uncle John making 10 millions for his whole life, own 2 Mercedes, 2 hammers and a boat, and he opened a successful jewelery stores and he passed away at the age of 80, Or Uncle John always help people, make people laugh, spend time for the community, and giving you both hands when you need only one. If people remember your whole life is only, for yourself , but no one else and you never ever think about the others. I am pity on you. Third, does money really brings happiness? It is absolutely not; it brings greediness, selfishness and stimulate one's evil mind. The most happiness family and people in the world I believe are average Joe and average Mary. But don't make me wrong, a bigger house, a faster car and a nicer meal; more vacation, less working hours of course are better, but you always has to think about what is your soul food. My soul food is helping people and making people happy, This is my soul food. what is your and what do you want people to think about you or remember you?

China Stands Up

These days, I hear China stands up almost every day. I wish we really stand up not for a day, or for a events, but forever. I see Chinese people discriminate its own people all the time, but now I see we are so united. I almost can't control to weep off every times I go to the sohu.com and open the newspaper. Children please don't cry, we are all your parents now. China Stands up.

"walking through those paths, looking through those eyes;
passing through those ruins, digging through those remains;
reading through those story, looking through those videos;
are teachers, children, parents, soldiers, volunteers, police officers, doctors, nurse, factory workers, students, store owners, priests, firefights, airborne
I call them heroes. "

For the 8 years boy who slates to those soldiers who save him,
For the 11 years old boy who carrys his 3 years old sister and walk for 12 hours,
For those teachers who give their lives for their students,
For those parents who give theirs arms to the love one,
For 13 billions Chinese and the rest of the world who care and help.

It is just like my son

Who is my son? My company site. The first site I ever work for was the http://www.burlingtonfreepress.com/ of my intern. I assisted them to build the travel section. It was fun and such a learning experience. The second one was my school NYIT ISA site http://www.geocities.com/nyitisa/index.htm when I was the president of the International Student Association of New York Institute of Technology. I was so exiting to build the site for the member of the club and the site is intact even now. The third one was http://www.friendhouserestaurant.com/ (current offline) when I was a manger in Manhattan NY. It was a nice project for my boss since they don't know much about the website. And now is http://www.pephoto.com/. I spend almost everyday to check out the site and the search engine ratings, reviews, rankings, bugs, blog, comparison...etc. I love what I do and I wish I can keep maintain this site in the future as I spend a lot of my energy with it. It is not just a job or a duty. It actually is a commitment and achievement. I sometimes just can't take my hands off the site. That;s why I was proposed to my boss that I would like to build my own site and work with them. But sadly they denied. Check out my site promotion here @ www.pephoto.com/promotions.php and www.pephoto.com/coupon.php. Other sites I maintain includes http://www.bestcolorphoto.com/, http://www.pephotobooks.com/, http://www.pegreetingcards.com/, http://www.bestcolorpro.com/, http://www.tung-shing-house.com/.

family go first

I received my canvas wrap from canvasondemand.com today. It is nice. Since I used the coupon. I only paid the shipping and handling. It is my son. I used his picture for the canvas. All my co-worker liked it. One of the co-worker HL said, you are lucky". Yes, I am. I have 2 adorable kids and a lovely wife in Japan that waiting for me. I really want to go to Japan and meet them. I miss them so much. After the China earthquake. I believe family always go first, and nothing ever.

I am being sued by the Discover Bank. I owe them money and I have to pay for it. It is no doubt about it. My wife doesn't want us to owe any single dollar in American. She wants us to pay every debt before I go. I am really proud of her. See how many people just leave the country without paying any their debt, credit card. So, I just have to be patient. But for the money I earn now. It is very difficult for me to make up those debt. Please wait. I will be there soon with this wonderful canvas wrap I received today.

Beyond fun and relaxation, vacations also provide opportunities to explore, learn, and grow. While these sights are breathtaking at any age, there's something extra special about seeing them as a child—or just through the eyes of one. (Use discretion: Some places simply aren't appropriate for younger kids.) Plus, see family trip photos from readers in our slide show.

Ellis Island Museum, New York City:About 40 percent of Americans are descended from someone who immigrated through this station. Visiting is a powerful experience, thanks to the smartly curated exhibits—and you get a terrific view of the Statue of Liberty on the same ferry ride.
Lincoln Memorial, Washington, D.C.:This is a city of inspiring sights: the Washington Monument, Arlington National Cemetery, and the Jefferson and Vietnam Veterans memorials. Still, the 19-foot marble statue of our 16th president is a can't-miss.
Colonial Williamsburg, Williamsburg, Va.:Kids growing up with e-mail and iPods might not believe it, but there was life before electricity, and even before a United States. The 301-acre open-air museum features hundreds of restored, reconstructed, and historically furnished buildings, and costumed guides tell the stories of the men and women of the 18th-century city.
USS Arizona Memorial, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii:Sunk by a surprise attack on December 7, 1941, the USS Arizona remains six feet below the water as a lasting monument to World War II veterans. A memorial that spans the sunken battleship was dedicated in 1962.
Grand Canyon National Park, Ariz.:Look at what wind, water, and erosion can do: At 5,000 feet deep and an average of 10 miles across, it's the most magnificent natural wonder in the country, and perhaps the world.
National Civil Rights Museum, Memphis:The motel where the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was killed is a museum chronicling the African-American struggle from slavery to Rosa Parks and beyond. Also highly worthwhile: Alabama's Birmingham Civil Rights Institute and Cincinnati's National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.
Redwood National Park, Calif.:Everyone feels humbled, in a good way, when exploring in the shadows of 300-foot-tall trees—many of which are more than 1,000 years old.
Monticello, Va.:Besides the Declaration of Independence, one of Thomas Jefferson's other masterpieces is the estate he designed and tinkered with over the course of five decades, located seven miles from the University of Virginia—which Jefferson also founded.
Gettysburg, Pa.:It's never too early to learn about the sacrifices of those who came before: In the bloodiest war in our nation's history, this Civil War battlefield was the bloodiest of all. Visitors can also see the spot where President Lincoln delivered his famed Civil War speech in 1863.
The Alamo, San Antonio, Texas:The stories of courage in the face of overwhelming forces will be remembered.
Ground Zero, New York City:The hole in lower Manhattan is sacred ground. The nearby Tribute-WTC Center exhibits crushed firefighter helmets and other recovered items.
Niagara Falls, N.Y.:The most powerful falls in North America, with as much as six million cubic feet of water plummeting over the gorge every minute, were awesome when your grandparents honeymooned there and remain awesome today. It's worth crossing into Canada to see them from the other side.
Freedom Trail, Boston:Visit Bunker Hill, Paul Revere's house, and other spots pivotal to the American Revolution. Walk the trail on your own for free or book a tour with a guide in 18th-century garb.
Independence Hall, Philadelphia:It's where George Washington was appointed commander of the Continental Army, the Declaration of Independence was signed, and the founding fathers truly laid the nation's foundation, in the form of the U.S. Constitution.
Walt Disney World Resort, Lake Buena Vista, Fla.:For more than 35 years, this resort destination — it's more than just a theme park — has been bringing the magic to kids and their grown-ups.

The time the rescue teams discovered her, she had already died. It is because of the collapsed house. Through the gap of that pile of ruins, you may see her posture. The double knees are kneeling. The entire upper body is crawling forward, double is well-grounded hand-held is supporting the body, some elephant ancient line kneels the gift given to a visitor, was only the body the distortion which pressed, seemed somewhat strange.

The rescue groups put out a hand from the ruins crevice to confirm she already died and inside has not any response. When the crowd arrives at next building, rescues party chief shout suddenly, “comes quickly”. Before he arrives at her corpse, the hard sledding puts in the hand under woman's body to try to find out, he traced several loud shouting “something still alive, it is a child, he is alive”.

After diligently, the people careful keep off her ruins to clean up, is lying down her child under hers body, wraps in a red inked ribbon Chrysanthemum's small quilt, it is about 3 to 4 months. Because of the mother body is sheltering, he is fine and has not injured. He also peaceful falls asleep. He sleeps soundly the face lets all those present feel that is very warm. Retinue doctor unties the quilt to prepare to make an inspection, discovered that has a handset to fill in the quilt. Doctor subconscious looked under the mobile / cell screen and discovered that on the screen is the short note which already wrote “my dear treasure, if you can live, must remember certainly I love you”. Doctors got used to seeing who parted forever actually to cry in this moment. The note was passing around, each saw the message has cried.

Acupuncture Rock

I know my acupuncture doctor when we were working in Vermont. He was a chef and I was a counter helper. It was almost 10 years ago. Now he is a respectful and well-known acupuncture doctor in Brooklyn. He has his own clinic. It is amazing how life tune over. He even has a US doctor degree. I can;t imagine he barely speak English 10 year ago. I had allergy this week and went to see him. He needled me 6 on the back for 30 minutes and 6 on my face for 15 minutes. It is 90% better now. It is the third times I did acupuncture. Every time it works. Chinese medicine has 5000 years history and it always the best in my mind. You can always buy a new bed and good bed, but you can;t never buy a good sleepy. My doc is amazing and he almost can help everything. I can share his contact information with anyone that need help.

Allergy

I can't sleep and woke me up to buy the medicine that my cousin recommended to me today called Benadryl. I no longer take any over-the-counter medicine for about two years now. Before that, I was an over-the-counter addict. I would have been taken 3 different medicines in the morning, afternoon and evening. All medicines are no longer working on me. And I went to emergency room once for a vital virus. I had a fever of 107 degree. My wife was scared to dead. I also read the book called Nature Cure and I truly believe that medicine doesn't do any good for human sometime. Unless really necessary like today, I mostly don't take medicine. I still can't sleep. I hope it will work in a miunte while I am surfing the web. My nose is stuffing, swelling and my eyes is tearing.

It's hard to resist the lure of the open road when summer rolls around — and with our editors' favorite scenic drives across the United States, you'll know exactly where to point your car this year. We've listed our favorites from west to east — including everything from the obvious Highway 1 in California to the less-obvious — but brilliantly named — Going-to-the-Sun Road in Montana. We've picked routes for their history (U.S. Route 1 in New England and Million Dollar Highway in Colorado); for their natural scenery (Blue Ridge Parkway, Red Rock Scenic Byway, Highway 12); for their romantic appeal (routes through Sonoma and Napa); and for their remote wild beauty (Hana and Seward highways). Best of all, most of these routes make for splendid drives all year long, so you can get out and explore their bounty whenever the mood strikes. So rev your engines ... and hit the road.
Blue Ridge Parkway
Stretching some 469 miles along the Southern Appalachian Mountains and linking two eastern national parks — Virginia's Shenandoah National Park in Virginia and North Carolina's Great Smoky Mountains — the Blue Ridge Parkway has often been referred to as "America's Favorite Drive." It's certainly the country's first rural parkway — parts of it date back to 1930s (when construction began as a make-work project during the Depression) — and the longest, with breathtaking scenery and dozens of recreational opportunities to distract you when you need to stretch your legs.
Though some may argue that autumn is the best season to drive this stretch, as the brilliant fall foliage is in full effect, May is also a superb time to head this way, to witness the profusion of wildflowers in bloom along the elevated mountainsides. Also included in this scenic route is the impressive Skyline Drive, a 105-mile swath of road that cuts through Shenandoah National Park. Of course, no nature drive of this sort would be quite complete without wildlife sightings: Keep an eye out for resident whitetail deer and black bears.
Hana Highway
It's no wonder the aloha 'aina (love of the land) spirit is the bedrock of Hawaiian tradition. A drive on Maui's beloved Hana Highway (also called "the road to Hana") offers such an awe-inspiring display of natural beauty that you'll soon revel in the same sentiment. This serpentine trek starts off in Paia, famous for its surfer-swept shores, and zigzags east along the coast for more than 50 miles, all the while embracing 600 hairpin curves, 54 one-lane bridges, and some of the island's most spectacular sights. Indeed, Keanae Arboretum (an exotic botanical garden), Waikani Falls (a trio of crashing chutes), Ka'eleku Caverns (an ancient cavern system created from a lava flow thousands of years ago), and Waianapanapa State Park (home to a famous black-sand beach and fresh-water caves) are all in close proximity.
Your excursion will land you in the sleepy coastal village of Hana, where you can take up shack and relish the quiet countryside and local culture or, continue a tad further to Haleakala National Park where you can cool your jets in Oheo Gulch (aka the Seven Sacred Pools). Keep your windows down as you go and breathe in the sweet air infused with eucalyptus and ginger. To get the most out of the drive, pick up a "The Hana Road Self-Guided Drive" CD from the Shell gas station on Route 380 in Kahului; it narrates the journey and highlights all of the must-sees.
Highway 1
California's State Route 1 (a.k.a. Highway 1) skirts the Golden State's glorious Pacific coastline from "So Cal," near San Luis Obispo northwest to the forests of Monterey. While the twists and curves, and occasional precariously-perched cliff-top road, may prove challenging at times (one section has been ominously dubbed Devil's Slide, thanks to landslides and erosion that have occasionally made the road impassable), the magnificent vistas of ocean waves breaking on rocky sea-sculpted shores, windswept beaches dotted by frolicking otters or sea lions, and magnificent forests presiding above it all can rouse even the wariest of drivers behind the wheel.
Forays into charming little coastal towns, like Carmel-by-the-Sea and Laguna Beach, as well as into the trilogy of Californian cultural centers at Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco, are met by attractions ranging from historic missions to magnificent mansions (don't miss San Simeon's mountaintop Hearst Castle). There are also endless opportunities for outdoor recreation, particularly around the Big Sur area, where you can hike through redwood forests, comb the beaches for shells and jade, and camp under the stars.
Highway 12
Windswept red-rock canyons, towering sandstone formations, pristine lakes, and pine- studded mountain ranges combine for an altogether over-the-top sensory experience in Southern Utah. The setting for several stunning national parks, this remarkable road connects those at Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef, and offers unique beauty and seemingly limitless recreational opportunities on a stretch of land between the two parks' boundaries.
Utah Highway 12, also known as Highway 12 Scenic Byway, is one of only 27 nationally designated All-American Roads — the highest honor a road can get for attractive scenery. This spectacular route travels away from Bryce Canyon, through the Grand Staircase- Escalante National Monument, and over the forested Boulder Mountain and the Dixie National Forest, before winding down near the entrance to Capitol Reef. The scenery is unforgettable along the entire length of the road — especially during the brilliant red-rock sunsets that provide a glorious grand finale to a day's driving adventure here.
Going-to-the-Sun Road
This spectacular 52-mile drive is the best way to see the dramatic remnants and rugged path left by gargantuan glaciers in Montana's striking Glacier National Park. Only open from early-June to mid-October (or until first snowfall), the Going-to-the-Sun Road, aptly named for its ever-escalating sky-high stretch with switchbacks up and over the magnificent Continental Divide, traverses Glacier National Park from West Glacier to St. Mary and covers untapped wilderness, rugged mountains, glistening lakes, deep river gorges, glacial canyons, and the long Garden Wall. This sharp ridge forms the Continental Divide, the only place in the country where water flows to the Pacific, Gulf of Mexico, and Hudson Bay.
The road offers multiple lookout points, among them the 6646-foot-high Logan Pass, which ranks as one of the Divide's most impressive vantage points, and Jackson Glacier Overlook, 2 miles beyond Siyeh Bend, where remnants of the mammoth ice formations that carved the park's harsh terrain and contoured its valleys can still be seen. Indeed, the many jaw-dropping views and hiking opportunities along the way will have you making frequent stops to get out and explore; a few backcountry lodges, chalets, and campgrounds are available too, should you decide to prolong your trip by spending the night.

PC Refresh Button

I used to use F5 to refresh/ reload my page while surfing the web. I learned recently that the difference between the "Refresh/F5" button at the top of the page and the "Control/f5" button, or Hard Refresh?

When you click the Refresh/F5 button in the browser, the page is refreshing from your local cache (local computer).

When you use the Ctrl + Refresh or Ctrl + f5 command, you are forcing the page to refresh from the server bypassing the local cache (local computer).

A useful tips that will help you sometime.

Gas Prices

Think you pay a lot for gas? Take a look how much the other nations charge.

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) reprint:
– Gasoline prices in the United States, which have recently hit record highs, are actually much lower than in many countries. Drivers in some European cities, like Amsterdam and Oslo, are paying nearly 3 times more than those in the U.S.

The main factor in price disparities between countries is government policy, according to AirInc, a company that tracks the cost of living in various places around the world. Many European nations tax gasoline heavily, with taxes making up as much as 75 percent of the cost of a gallon of gasoline, said a spokesperson for AirInc.

In a few Latin America and Middle-East nations, such as Venezuela and Saudi Arabia, oil is produced by a government-owned company and local gasoline prices are kept low as a benefit to the nation's citizens, he said. All prices updated March, 2005.

Chinese Smoker

3.5 billions smoker is China and 1/3 of the world smokers are Chinese. You guys have to quit. Don’t you know who is making all those money? 100 millions people died for the smoking related diseases. Don’t be the net one.

Stop Global Warming

Unknown source reprint:

What is Global Warming?
The Earth as an ecosystem is changing, attributable in great part to the effects of globalization and man. More carbon dioxide is now in the atmosphere than has been in the past 650,000 years. This carbon stays in the atmosphere, acts like a warm blanket, and holds in the heat — hence the name ‘global warming.’
The reason we exist on this planet is because the earth naturally traps just enough heat in the atmosphere to keep the temperature within a very narrow range - this creates the conditions that give us breathable air, clean water, and the weather we depend on to survive. Human beings have begun to tip that balance. We've overloaded the atmosphere with heat-trapping gasses from our cars and factories and power plants. If we don't start fixing the problem now, we’re in for devastating changes to our environment. We will experience extreme temperatures, rises in sea levels, and storms of unimaginable destructive fury. Recently, alarming events that are consistent with scientific predictions about the effects of climate change have become more and more commonplace.

Environmental Destruction
The massive ice sheets in the Arctic are melting at alarming rates. This is causing the oceans to rise. That’s how big these ice sheets are! Most of the world’s population lives on or near the coasts. Rising ocean levels, an estimated six feet over the next 100 years or sooner, will cause massive devastation and economic catastrophe to population centers worldwide.
The United States, with only four percent of the world’s population, is responsible for 22% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions. A rapid transition to energy efficiency and renewable energy sources will combat global warming, protect human health, create new jobs, protect habitat and wildlife, and ensure a secure, affordable energy future.

Health Risks
Malaria. Dengue Fever. Encephalitis. These names are not usually heard in emergency rooms and doctors’ offices in the United States. But if we don’t act to curb global warming, they will be. As temperatures rise, disease-carrying mosquitoes and rodents spread, infecting people in their wake. Doctors at the Harvard Medical School have linked recent U.S. outbreaks of dengue fever, malaria, hantavirus and other diseases directly to climate change.

Catastrophic Weather
Super powerful hurricanes, fueled by warmer ocean temperatures are the “smoking gun” of global warming. Since 1970, the number of category 4 and 5 events has jumped sharply. Human activities are adding an alarming amount of pollution to the earth’s atmosphere causing catastrophic shifts in weather patterns. These shifts are causing severe heat, floods and worse.

Recycle
Benefits of Recycling
- Conserves resources for our children's future.
- Prevents emissions of many greenhouse gases and water pollutants.
- Saves energy.
- Supplies valuable raw materials to industry.
- Creates jobs.
- Stimulates the development of greener technologies.
- Reduces the need for new landfills and incinerators.
Recycling turns materials that would otherwise become waste into valuable resources. In addition, it generates a host of environmental, financial, and social benefits. Materials like glass, metal, plastics, and paper are collected, separated and sent to facilities that can process them into new materials or products.
Recycling is one of the best environmental success stories of the late 20th century. Recycling, including composting, diverted 82 million tons of material away from landfills and incinerators in 2006, up from 34 million tons in 1990. By 2006, about 8,660 curbside collection programs served roughly half of the American population. Curbside programs, along with drop-off and buy-back centers, resulted in a diversion of about 32 percent of the nation's solid waste in 2005.

New drug known as 'strawberry quick' for kids

Unknown source reprint:
This is a new drug known as 'strawberry quick'. There is a type of crystal meth going around that looks like strawberry pop rocks (the candy that sizzles and 'pops' in your mouth). It smells like strawberry and it is being handed out to kids in school yards. They are calling it strawberry meth or strawberry quick. Kids are ingesting it thinking that it is candy and being rushed off to the hospital in critical condition. It also comes in chocolate, peanut butter, cola, cherry, grape and orange. Please instruct your children not to accept candy from strangers and not to accept candy that looks like this from a friend (who may have been given it and believe it is candy.) If they receive any candy they should take it to a teacher, principal, etc. immediately.

Drug dealers mix meth with Kool-Aid in an attempt to make it look and taste better. And again, there’s the snappy name. While Strawberry Quick hasn’t made a big splash in Dallas, it is gaining ground in other parts of the country. [foxnews.com]

so that we can raise awareness and hopefully prevent any tragedies from occurring. 'Strawberry Quick,' the revamped street drug is targeted at teenagers and represents the latest strategy by drug traffickers to counteract slumping sales.
